Additional Tools
Since we will be working with text, visual, audio, and video editing, there is no specific software or tools that you have to use. You should use the resources and software that you have available. There is no need to buy any software. Still, here is a list of tools that might come in handy. I am providing you with more than enough options in every category.I am listing commercial products on the chance that you may have access to some of them. However, there are free, open source, or web based alternatives in each category. The tools listed here provide a lot of choices and they each have their pros and cons. The best way is to experiment and play with the different tools and see which ones you like. Additionally, there are is an even longer list of mobile apps that can compete with anything listed here, but I could never keep up with those options.
Web tools like these also have a high churn rate, updating and disappearing all the time. This is not even close to an exhaustive list, but I will try to keep it up to date. There are also an array of browser-based extensions and plug-ins that are available and can be very useful too. Still, always back-up your files so that you never lose your material should a tool be shut down and disappear.
